This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the Wellfound founding-list waitlist. It is written to meet our obligations under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Australian Privacy Principles), and our email practices follow New Zealand's Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 and Australia's Spam Act 2003.
Wellfound is a brand of WellHuman Ltd, based in New Zealand ("we", "us", "our"). For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@wellhuman.co.nz.
Providing your email is voluntary. If you don't provide it, we simply can't add you to the founding list or notify you at launch.
We use your email only to contact you about Wellfound: founding-list updates, launch, early access, pricing, and the research behind our products. By joining, you consent to receiving these messages. We do not use it for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
Every email we send includes an easy way to unsubscribe, and we'll always identify ourselves as the sender. You can also ask us to remove you at any time by emailing privacy@wellhuman.co.nz.
To protect this form from bots and abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode. Turnstile runs automatically in the background and may collect technical information (such as your IP address, browser and device signals, and interaction data) to distinguish humans from automated traffic. Cloudflare's handling of this information is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum, which forms part of the disclosures in this policy.
Our waitlist and bot protection run on Cloudflare. This means your information may be stored or processed on servers located outside New Zealand and Australia. We only use reputable providers that are contractually required to protect your information to standards comparable to those in New Zealand and Australia. By joining, you acknowledge this overseas storage and processing.
We keep your email for as long as you remain on the founding list or as needed for the purposes above. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details, we will remove them from our active list, keeping only what any law requires.
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, and to have it corrected if it's wrong. Email privacy@wellhuman.co.nz and we'll respond within the timeframes required by law.
